Contributor Agreement

For Guest Writers, Essayists, and Commentators

This Contributor Agreement governs all submissions to Father & Co. by external writers (“Contributor”). By submitting work, the Contributor agrees to the following terms:


1. Originality & Rights

  • Contributor affirms the submission is original, truthful, and created by the Contributor.
  • Contributor grants Father & Co. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, edit, and distribute the work across all Father & Co. platforms.
  • Contributor retains ownership of their work.

2. Editorial Discretion

  • Father & Co. may edit for clarity, accuracy, tone, length, or safety.
  • Father & Co. may decline to publish any submission for any reason.

3. Accuracy & Liability

  • Contributor guarantees that statements presented as fact are accurate to the best of their knowledge.
  • Contributor is responsible for ensuring the content does not defame, harm, or unlawfully identify any individual.
  • Contributor indemnifies Father & Co. against claims arising from inaccuracies, defamation, or misrepresentation within their submission.

4. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • Contributor agrees not to include private information about identifiable individuals unless they have permission or the information is public record.
  • Father & Co. may alter identifying information to protect safety.

5. Compensation

  • Contributions are voluntary.
  • Father & Co. does not offer financial compensation for guest submissions at this time.
  • Contributors may link to personal sites or professional pages.

6. Withdrawal

  • Contributors may request removal of their piece, subject to editorial review.
  • Father & Co. may retain archived copies for recordkeeping.

7. Agreement

Submitting content indicates full acceptance of this Contributor Agreement.
