Father & Co. welcomes thoughtful letters responding to our coverage or raising issues related to family courts, trauma, disability, fatherhood, and systemic reform.


Requirements

  • 150–300 words
  • Must include full name, email, and city/state
  • Letters may be edited for clarity, length, and accuracy
  • Pseudonyms considered on a case-by-case basis
  • No personal attacks, naming of private individuals, or unverified allegations

What We Publish

We prioritize letters that:

  • offer meaningful insight
  • raise important questions
  • challenge ideas respectfully
  • highlight overlooked experiences
  • contribute to public understanding

We do not publish:

  • rants
  • defamatory content
  • explicit details about active cases
  • threats or hostile language
  • commercial promotion

Editorial Rights

Father & Co. may:

  • verify authorship
  • decline letters
  • condense or redact for safety
  • respond publicly when appropriate
